DESCRIPTION

Laboratory accreditation organizations share data from their programs on the most common deficiencies reported by their assessors. Some deficiencies repeatedly appear in these organizations’ top 10. It costs money and time to solve problems that generate deficiencies and drains the budget. This program presents resources for reducing or eliminating deficiencies.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

Upon completion of this self-study course, participants will be able to:

• List at least 4 of the most common laboratory accreditation deficiencies.
• Identify ONE key quality tool that helps solve many accreditation deficiencies.
• Describe how to access resources that guide in resolving deficiencies

CE ACCREDITATION

This self-study is P.A.C.E. ® accredited. One (1) P.A.C.E. ® contact hours and one (1) Florida credit hours in the area General (General) will be awarded to participants. ASCLS P.A.C.E.® is accepted by the ASCP/ASCLS/AGT Board of Certification and all states, including Florida and California, as an approved provider of continuing education for recertification and licensure. ASCLS is an approved provider with CE Broker for Florida licensees.
