With the critical shortage of
medical laboratory professionals, this session will address an interim
workforce solution on bringing in foreign medical laboratory practitioners; its
benefits and how to maintain compliance to the USCIS regulations; and recognize
the challenges both the employers and foreign practitioners face

At the conclusion of this presentation, participants will be
able to
- Discuss the benefits and factors in employing foreign trained laboratory professionals.
- Discuss the process and USCIS requirements in hiring foreign trained laboratory professionals.
- Discuss the personal narrative and challenges of foreign laboratory professionals.
