Trisha M Shattuck, MD, PhD.
Dr. Trisha M. Shattuck works with Carolinas Pathology Group supporting the Atrium Healthcare System and serving as medical director of the cytology laboratory. After receiving a B.S. in biology from Yale University, she completed a combined MD/PhD program at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine where her research focused on endocrine neoplasia. She then pursued a combined anatomic and clinical pathology residency and cytopathology fellowship at Duke University. Following several years on faculty at Duke University, she relocated to Charlotte where she has been practicing for 8 years, specializing in Cytopathology and Head and Neck Pathology. She also serves as co-medical directory of the Central Piedmont Community College Cytotechnology program.
